Essex Energy Corp. Receives Funding for Smart Grid Technology Development

On June 8, the Hon. Dwight Duncan, MPP for Windsor-Tecumseh, announced the exciting news at Essex Energy’s office in Oldcastle, Ontario.

“We are extremely excited about the ‘smart grid’ technology opportunities we are developing today,” stated Steve Ray, General Manager of Essex Energy Corporation. “This important funding from the Provincial Government will play a key role in capturing this opportunity globally. Developing sustainable technologies such as ‘smart grid’ means new job opportunities which are exciting for our employees and essential for our company’s growth.”

The funding received will assist Essex Energy Corporation in developing and integrating innovative smart grid software which will help local electricity distributors manage their systems.
